This course will develop your skills as a technician in a cleanroom setting. It includes many hands-on trainings in the cleanroom itself to prepare you for a technician job in the wafer manufacturing cleanroom environment.

Learner Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, students will have:    
  • Knowledge of industry and jobs with technologies requiring cleanroom work environment
  • Knowledge of basic cleanroom processes:  Photolithography, Deposition, Etch and Metrology
And will be able to:    
  • Work in cleanroom:  gowning; safety protocols; wafer handling
  • Complete processing steps including photolithography, deposition and etch
  • Do basic metrology
  • Complete wafer traveler and SPC data
