Course Description

This course focuses on: (1) behavioral assessment  - identifying and analyzing variables that influence performance, (2) behavior-change procedures  - designing and evaluating reinforcement, feedback, and goal-setting systems that sustain performance outcomes, and (3) personnel supervision and management  - applying the science of behavior analysis to improve employee and organizational performance.

Students will learn to apply the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to organizational settings through the systematic use of measurement, feedback, and reinforcement to improve performance at the individual, group, and systems level. Emphasis is placed on function-based assessment, data-based decision making, and ethical, culturally responsive supervision practices.

***If you are planning to complete the BCBA Program and take the BACB exam in 2027, you are also required to complete ED X310A.5 and pass the Competency course (ED X309D.5) to successfully complete the BCBA Program and be eligible for the coursework attestation."

These modules align with course content and will help students prepare for the big exam. Per BDS, there is a 98.5% pass rate for students who complete 100% of their modules. You will qualify for a discount through us and will receive information on the first day of your class!

Important Notes: All courses are 5 units and offered in an interactive online asynchronous format. Students are required to complete weekly assignments through Canvas. 

After the 8th day of class, no late enrollments will be accepted (04/08/2026).
